The pocket size 8918 AZ Air flow Meter has the Swiss knife shape, which could be opened with 90 degree on the tripod, or 180 degree fully opened to handle easily. The pocket-knife design makes it convenient and portable, easy to use and to get a precision reading.
The 8918 AZ wind speed meter can measure the Wind Speed, Windchill, Temp., Humidity and Dew point temperature.
The Windchill temperature is referred to as the “feels like” temperature. It is based on the rate of heat loss from exposed skin caused by the effects of wind and cold. As the wind increases, the body is cooled at a faster rate causing the skin temperature to drop. Wind Chill does not impact inanimate objects like car radiators and exposed water pipes, because these objects cannot cool below the actual air temperature.
