FAQ

【FAQ of AZ 8301 Cond. & Temp. Meter Real-time Data Output】

Q1: How should I clean the conductivity electrode after use?
A: After every measurement, rinse the probe thoroughly with deionized (DI) water or distilled water to remove any chemical residues. Gently blot dry with a soft, lint-free tissue. Never wipe or rub the electrode surface, as this can create static electricity or damage the sensitive sensor coating.

Q2: Does the conductivity electrode need to be stored in a soaking solution?
A: No. Unlike pH electrodes that must stay wet, conductivity sensors (like the one used for the AZ 8301) should be stored dry. After cleaning and drying the probe, simply place the protective cap back on to prevent physical damage.

Q3: How often should I calibrate the AZ 8301 conductivity meter?
A: Calibration frequency depends on your application:
* Frequent Use: Once a week is recommended.
* Occasional Use: Calibrate before each new round of testing.
* Significant Environment Changes: If the sample temperature or expected range differs greatly from the previous test, recalibrate to ensure the ATC (Auto Temperature Compensation) remains accurate.
