Application

Application of 8362 AZ Water Conductivity and TDS Tester Pen:
The 8362 AZ Electric Conductivity and TDS Meter can measure the Conductivity, TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) and Temperature for the water solution target. The units of Conductivity are including uS & mS, and the units of TDS are including ppm & ppt.

The 8362 AZ Digital EC and ppm Meter is designed as auto-ranging since powered on. Auto-ranging determines and selects a range which gives User the greatest resolution and accuracy.

Q1: What makes this pen different from other conductivity pens?

A1: Unlike most pen-type testers designed mainly for drinking or tap water, this model is built to measure higher conductivity and TDS levels, making it suitable for industrial and high-salinity water samples.

 

Q2: Can this tester measure RO or DI (pure) water?

A2: RO and DI water can be displayed, but accuracy may be limited. This pen is designed for high-conductivity applications, not ultra-low conductivity water. For precise RO or DI water measurement, a low-range instrument is recommended.

 

Q3: How often does calibration need to be performed??

A3: For typical industrial field use, calibration is not required frequently. Periodic checks are sufficient unless high accuracy traceability or regulatory compliance is required.
